MCC Full Time School 25th Anniversary Dinner

Islamic School in Morton Grove, MCC Full Time School,to Celebrate 25th Anniversary at Upcoming Annual Benefit DinnerMorton Grove, IL  (February 18, 2014) — MCC Full Time School is excited to celebrate its 25th anniversary at the upcoming MCCFTS Annual Benefit Dinner on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at White Eagle Banquet Hall in Niles, IL. MCCFTS has grown by leaps and bounds over the course of these years having opened its doors with a mere 25 students in early childhood to 2nd grade back in 1989 to now, today in 2014, boasting upwards of nearly 500 students in grades preschool through 8th. Given an extensive waiting list including nearly 100 students seeking a seat in various grades, MCCFTS purchased a second facility, the site of the former Sharp Corner School, 9301 Gross Point Rd., in Skokie, IL, earlier this year in January.  MCCFTS plans to open the doors of its second facility beginning the start of next school year in September 2014. The flagship facility in Morton Grove will continue to provide education to middle school students while the new facility in Skokie will service students in early childhood and elementary grades. MCCFTS also has plans to open a daycare facility at the new building.

MCC Full Time School is a parochial elementary institution, fully accredited by the State of Illinois. The curriculum of the school is in line with the standards proposed by the ISBE (Illinois State Board of Education). For 25 years, MCCFTS has continued to grow its enrollment through providing a top-notch secular education complemented by contemporary coursework in Islamic studies designed to build and refine character among our students.  There is great excitement among the community over the expansion of the school through the purchase of a second facility located a few short miles from the flagship location in Morton Grove. MCCFTS offers a highly competitive secular education curriculum for students in preschool through 8th grades with students consistently scoring on average in the 89th percentile on standardized tests of basic skills. The Islamic Studies program is incredibly comprehensive, aimed at the explanation and implementation of Islamic practices and principles, as well as mastery of the Arabic language.
