November is Native American Heritage Month!

November is Native American Heritage Month!  

Morton Grove Historical Museum and Education Center Morton Grove Historical Museum - 6148 Dempster Street, Morton Grove, IL 60053 Sunday, November 3 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm  Join us for a dedication ceremony and open house in recognition of our Native American Past, as the Morton Grove Historical Society unveils the Potawatomi Eagle Dancer woodcarving plaque. Plan to tour the Haupt-Yehl House Museum, view exhibits, and join Museum staff in creating a variety of American Indian arts and crafts. Enjoy light refreshments and meet with special guests representing local American Indians today. This exhibit will run through the month of December in the Museum Education Center. Native American traveling history programs are available to groups by appointment year round.
