AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM
Join our national award-winning afterschool program, returning for its 13th year! This program is at all District 63 elementary schools.
Give your child something productive to do every day after school, in a safe, positive learning environment supervised primarily by District 63 classroom teachers.
TLC starts on August 26th
TLC will be set up in three 12-week sessions*:
Session I: August 26th- November 15th
Session II: November 18th- February 28th
Session III: March 3rd- June 2nd
*Students can choose to attend one, two, or all three of the sessions
TLC hours are from immediately after school until 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, on full school days.
New this year: Childcare until 6PM is available at all TLC sites now supervised by TLC staff members!
Features of the award-winning afterschool
program that will continue this year…

•  Affordable pricing- Each 12-week session will cost around $200 which is about $16/ week, $3/day(Discounts are available for students who are approved for free or reduced lunch)
  

•  A highly qualified and caring staff, made up primarily of District 63 teachers

•  Help with homework

•  Child care is available from 5-6PM, supervised by TLC staff members

•  Bus service home is still about $1 per day

•  Students will receive a non-sugary snack each day

•  Time for physical activity; focus on wellness

•  Variety of educational, recreational, cultural, social enrichment activities

•  Opportunities for computer use

•  Children are safe and happy in a supervised learning environment

•  All TLC Programs are held at the child’s home school building with the exception of Culver students who will travel to nearby Apollo TLC

•  Students from neighboring school districts are welcome to join TLC at an increased fee and providing they have transportation to and from the program.
