Twenty-first Star Chapter DAR Meeting
The Twenty-first Star Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold their first meeting of the NSDAR year 2013-2014 Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at the Park Ridge Country Club, 636 N. Prospect Avenue in Park Ridge at 11:30 a.m. A luncheon will be served at 12:00 p.m. with a meeting and program to follow. Hostesses for the day are: Sue Fritzler, Pat Gould, Millie Anderson; Nancy Ruscitti, Chairman.
Chapter Regent, Sheila Aszling is pleased to have Eric Salcedo, present his program, "How to Protect Yourself from Scams and Identity Theft." Mr. Salcedo is Community Outreach Coordinator for Attorney General Lisa Madigan. A position he has served since 2004.
Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal decent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership. The DAR recognizes "Patriots: as not only soldiers but alsoanyone who contributed to the cause of American freedom."
