Wine and Dine Around the World

The Rotary Club of Wilmette Foundation will be hosting an annual “Wine and Dine Around the World” fundraising gala on November 8, 2013 at the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel in Skokie. The event is from 6:30 to 9:30 pm, followed by an "After Party" from 9:30-11pm with dancing (including lessons) and a cash-bar. 

The Rotary Club of Wilmette has been serving the local and international community since 1924.  Their motto is “Service Above Self”.  They are committed to trying to make the world a better place through some of the following efforts:

• improving educational opportunities for all people (scholarships, book drives)
  
• eradicating crippling diseases (polio)
• providing medical and humanitarian assistance in disaster areas
• supporting local community efforts (holiday meals to seniors, beach clean-ups)  

 The Wine and Dine event will include:

• Gourmet food and wine pairings from around the world
  
• Entertainment and Dancing
  
• A Silent Auction
  
• A Raffle for cases of wine
  

You will also have the opportunity to order the wines you like from our sponsor, Schaefer's Liquors.

This will be an evening to have fun and know that your generosity will help to improve the lives of many people in our local community, the inner city of Chicago and throughout the world.
