Winter Holiday at The Niles Historical Museum

Now that the holidays are over, how about some time for yourself? Our January 26th program will feature “The Bishop’s Wife,” starring Cary Grant, Loretta Young, and David Niven.

Bishop Henry Brougham (Niven), troubled with funding the building of a new cathedral prays for
divine guidance. His plea is seemingly answered by a suave angel named Dudley (Grant), who reveals his identity only to the clergyman. He is there to guide Henry and the people around him. Unfortunately he develops a strong attraction to Julia (Young) and the Bishop gets jealous…

Doors open for this classic black and white movie at 1:00 p.m., and the movie will start at 2:15 after a short cartoon (just like the olden days)!

Admission is FREE and there will be popcorn, refreshments, and a White Elephant Raffle (tickets will be on sale before, during, and after the movie)!

(See our other entry for the White Elephant Raffle!)
