District 207 Educational Foundation Benefit Dinner

An evening of fine food, fundraising, and fine arts entertainment provided by the three Maine Township high schools awaits those who attend the District 207 Educational Foundation’s third annual Benefit Dinner on Thursday evening, April 7, 2011, at The Rosewood, 9421 W. Higgins Rd., Rosemont, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Entertainment will be provided by Maine East’s Demon Strings, the Maine West Choraliers, and the Maine South Jazz Band.  Dave Barker, former Maine East principal, will emcee the evening.  On display will be student activities funded by Foundation mini-grants — such as the Maine South Constitution Team headed again to Washington, D.C., the Maine West mosaic project, and the Maine East Gifted Lyceum, which is once again headed to Iowa to provide flood reconstruction assistance.  A cash raffle and a silent auction will also be featured at the Benefit Dinner to help fund future and ongoing projects.

Tickets are $50 and can be purchased online at the Foundation’s website, https://sites.google.com/a/maine207.org/foundation/home. Proceeds benefit the students of Maine East, South and West through continued support for innovative and imaginative educational opportunities.  The Maine Township High School District 207 Educational Foundation is a registered 501(c))(3) organization, and a portion of the ticket price is tax deductible.
