GFS Marketplace teaches us how to turn a burrito into an edible football field!

GFS Marketplace officially opened at Golf Mill Shopping Center in Niles on Tuesday, Oct. 18 and shoppers will soon discover the benefits of shopping at this bulk food store. But what makes GFS Marketplace different from the rest? Well, first off, it’s a bulk food store, but there is no membership fee! Second, they offer unique solutions to every day meals and parties alike. Whether you’re feeding a family of four or planning for a party of 400, GFS Marketplace has the products and services to meet every need.

Customers find shopping at GFS Marketplace a breeze. Sure, it’s a bulk food store; but its convenient layout makes it easy to find what you need quickly. Shoppers also love the extra touches such as the Menu Wizard, a computerized menu planner that takes the guesswork out of what and how much to buy. The Menu Wizard is free and available at all GFS Marketplace stores.

In-store food tastings are held every Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Customers ‘can try it before you buy’ a variety of GFS Marketplace favorites. Be sure to check the website, www.gfs.com for what’s being sampled each week. Also on the website are many great tasting family- and party-sized recipes, party tips, portion guides, and menu ideas. For example, this Deep Dish Burrito is easily transformed into a football field and is the hit at any football party gathering. 

The GFS Marketplace in Niles is located at the Golf Mills Shopping Center. Store hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m Monday through Saturday and 12 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday.
