Dr. Oz Coming To Park Ridge; 1,000 Free Flu Shots To Be Given

Dr. Oz is teaming up with Advocate Health and Fox 32 to promote the importance of getting flu shots.


Update:

All are welcome to come to the event, and anyone four years and older is eligible to get the flu shot. Children must be accompanied by an adult able to provide consent.

Where to park for the event: Take Ballard Road west to Potter Road. At Potter Road, turn right. Take Potter Road to Church Street and make a right. The parking lot will be on the right hand side, with a sign that reads “One Hope United.” Please reserve closest parking spaces for associates and parents visiting the daycare center. A bus will be waiting outside the parking lot for associates.

Dr. Mehmet Oz of the “Dr. Oz Show" is coming to Park Ridge and teaming up with Advocate Medical Group and Fox 32 to raise awareness about the importance of flu shots. 

The “Free Yourself from the Flu” event will provide 1,000 free flu shots to community residents. They'll be administered by Advocate physicians and clinicians.

“The goal is to help keep our communities healthy this cold and flu season,” said Dr. Jim Dan, president Advocate Medical Group.  

Dr. Oz is scheduled to be at Advocate Medical Group's Nesset Pavilion, 1775 Ballard Road, Park Ridge, on Tuesday, October 29 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
