Morton Grove

American Legion Post 134 is planning a parade as part of its annual celebration Sunday May 27 at 1:30 p.m., closing Dempster Street, between Austin and Ferris from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Niles

and the Village of Niles will conduct a ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Waterfall at 11 a.m. Monday, May 28 to remember those who have died serving the United States.  

The waterfall is located at the southwest corner of Touhy Avenue and Milwaukee Avenue, and parking is located south of it (away from Touhy).


Park Ridge 

The annual Memorial Day parade steps off at 10 a.m. Monday, May 28 at Talcott & Cumberland, Park Ridge, and ends at City Hall, 505 Butler Place, just south of Prospect and west of the railroad tracks, Park Ridge.

The parade route is: Talcott/Cumberland north to Prairie, to Main, to Park Ridge City Hall.

The parade is co-sponsored by the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) Post 3579 and the American Legion Post 247.
