So Saturday was a 10 mile run and I got a lot of Niles covered. Even though it was a tad bit hot, I was able to get the mileage in under a bit of the cloud cover - the same storm that sent the ND graduation indoors (Sorry guys!!!)
The next path of my "Jogabout" Niles covered some areas I can't say that I have ever seen before, even though I have lived here all my life. I can remember some of these spots from my childhood as empty fields.
Somthing I have really noticed recently and that is the IMMENSE diversity of Niles. However you feel about that, I highly doubt you will find any town in the country MORE diverse than Niles.
It's almost sad in an odd kind of way. I travel a lot, and yet I can imagine that if I went to country I've never been to before, I could likely buy one of their native dishes right here in Niles. Or get some book, video, piece of clothing or magazine from the same country - probably all within a mile of each other.
Welcome to America!
Check out my pictures and tell me if you know where they were taken.
