A Lesson In Humanity And Humility

She's a winner and Niles will be too!

I was I was sitting in the lobby St. Benedict's Assited Living Center, with Danette O'Donovan Matyas, a candidate I support for trustee in the upcoming election. All the other candidates on the ticket I have known for years, but not Danette. I thought this would be a good opportunity to find out what really makes this woman tick. Not only was I gently surprised but extremely impressed.

Danette, is one of the main reasons I stay involved with Niles politics. She truly represents everything that is good about our community. She is a self-made woman who put herself through college as an adult all while raising a family. Throughout the campaign I have watched her closely it's never about her it's always about the entire ticket. I constantly hear her say, how can I help, or if there's a challenge how can we fix it. She focuses on results and not finger-pointing.

In this blog I'm not going to go into all of her accomplishments. You can see those in her bio. I am going to ask quite respectfully that you vote for her. Thank you in advance for your consideration in this matter and as always (all-ways) peace and have a nice day.
