To date the most important election Niles will experience

To all my friends and neighbors in Niles, check out my new blog. You will get the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

This blog will be a public service to the great citizens of Niles and the village we love so much. In April, we will all be asked to choose a new mayor and trustees. On one hand we have a ticket of years of public service to our community and on the other we have a group that's trying to reinvent the wheel. Between Hanusiack, Hynes and Preston, what trees have they planted, what good have they done for the community, except wasting taxpayers money.

In reality, they are all chasing the ghost of Mayor Blase. This has all been rehashed before, so I won't get into that now. The reality of the situation is this, Chris Hanusiack has shown nothing but his utter disdain for village employees, the business community and the citizens of Niles. His running mate Luella Preston owes everything she has ever accomplished politically to Mayor Blase, and Jim Hines seems totally confused in his role as trustee. He wants to hire one lawyer after another, to satisfy the need that the citizens of Niles perceives him as the perfect politician and the Savior of our great village. Jim, a quick heads up, the last perfect guy to walk the earth was a skinny little Jewish guy with a beard and long hair and look what they did to him.

In my next blog post I will give you all the benefits of what the competitive party has to offer. Keep your eyes on Channel 6, Comcast cable or the village of Niles website, click TV, and see where your hard-earned tax dollars are going.
