What's Open on Thanksgiving?
Some places will be open to grab the items you need, to dine out or catch a movie.
Run out of cranberry relish? Want to skip making that 20-pound turkey and eat it somewhere else or stuff yourself on an omelet? Or do you just want to surf the Web in peace and nurse a strong cup of java?
Well you’re in luck. A few places in Niles will be open on Turkey Day. One restaurant will offer Thanksgiving with all the trimmings. At least one restaurant will be open late 24 hours. And the supermarket chains with stores either in Niles or nearby Morton Grove will be open until late afternoon.
So, you can eat a hearty breakfast, get popcorn to eat with a good movie or football game (or all three) or chow down on Chunky Monkey.
