'Hiring Our Heroes' Hiring Fair for Vets AND Military Spouses

If you are a veteran or military spouse looking for work, this job fair is for you. Hiring our Heroes is supported by the US Chamber of Commerce and is celebrating its 2nd anniversary.

Join Hiring Our Heroes on March 21, 2013 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, for a very special 2 year anniversary hiring fair for veteran job seekers and military spouses.There will be over 75 employers in attendance conducting onsite interviews.The fair will be held at the Palmer House Hilton on 17 East Monroe Street, Chicago, IL 60603.

Pre-registration of attendees will result in day of event interviews through skills matching with employer job listings.

Employers will be contacted and must show proof of available job listings.

This event is in partnership with the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, the Illinois Department of Veterans’ Affairs (IDVA), and the Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES). The event is being co-sponsored by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the U.S. Department of Labor Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (DOL VETS), the Illinois Committee of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) the American Legion, the Student Veterans of America (SVA), and the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), the Illinois Chamber of Commerce, Operation Support Our Troops (OSOT- America), and NBC News. This event is being supported by Illinois State Comptroller Judy Baar Topinka and other local partners.
