Winter Market Where to Find Everything Local!

Holiday wreaths, Christmas turkeys, fruitcakes, jewelry, lavendar soaps, hand knit scarves, hot food, hot cocoa, live music, balloon artist and crafts...its a Winter Market for everyone to celebrate!

Find just about everything local you need this Saturday, December 1 from 9am to 2pm at the Civic Center, 6140 Dempster. Begin your day with a hot cup of coffee and danishes. There are several local bakeries coming to the market, from gluten-free to whoopie pies to the traditional fruit cakes and much more.

Stop by Benhart farm for your free-range Christmas Turkey, grass fed beef roasts, sausages and farm fresh eggs. Visit with Lyon's farm for pears, apples, tomatoes, and more produce from Michigan. Stock up on jellies, jams, pickled veggies, honey and even get a fresh evergreen wreath for the door.

Once your grocery bags are full, start your holiday shopping list. Is it a shawl for your great aunt, a pair of mittens for your grandson, a necklace for your child's teacher, handmade soaps for your neighbor, a hand carved wood wine cork for your husband or a stain glass piece for the kitchen? A variety of selections await you throughout the market with over two dozen vendors.
