Tamales Express is a family-owned and operated business specializing in traditional, handmade Mexican-style tamales.Tamales Express offers several different tamale varieties each week, such as amish chicken, pork, sweet corn, poblano pepper, and more. They also offer tacos in steak, chicken, or fish, corn on the cob (plain or elotes style with mayo, lemon juice and parmesan cheese), mango on a stick, and a variety of drinks including fresh fruit smoothies and young coconut.Affiliated with Vegetarian Express in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood, Tamales Express aims to use as many local and organic ingredients as possible and are also available for catering.

Halloween Costume Contest: Our Annual Costume Contest will take place at 11 am with VIP judges from the Morton Grove Park District, the Village of Morton Grove (Mayor Dan DiMaria), and the Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Executive Director Debbie Juris). Prizes for the top 3 children’s costumes!

Winter Market Saturday, December 7th and
Spring Market Saturday, March 22nd
The markets will once again be held at the Morton Grove American Legion Civic Center from 9 am – 2 pm.

Regular Season: June 7 – October 18 (no market July 4th weekend)
We are looking for vendors selling local food products and artisan gift items for both the indoor markets and the 2014 outdoor markets. The Morton Grove Farmers’ Market strives to be a local, producer only Market. All items must be home-grown, handmade, and/or vendor-created from locally-owned operations. Fruits, vegetables and flowers need to be grown within the approximate range of 150 miles of Morton Grove. Out of consideration for our neighboring businesses, please do not park in the street along Fernald, south of Dempster.
