Farmers’ Market Returns 7/13! Early Bird Specials!

The Morton Grove Farmers’ Market reopens Saturday, July 13th

with Early Bird Specials!

Market Hours: 8 am - 12 pm

The following vendors are offering Early Bird Specials this Saturday:
    1. Backyard Bed and Breakfast will have 50 hand crafted birdhouses marked down to $8 for the Early BIRDS who shop between 8-10 am.
    2. Albo Acres customers can save 10% off ALL alpaca wool items from 8-9 am!  Stock up on wool socks, gloves, scarves, and those adorable stuffed animals.
    3. Buttercream by Julianna offers their wonderful loaves of gluten free sweet breads for only $5 between 8-10 am.
    4. Aunty Jeanne’s will take 10% off between 8-9 am.  Also, in an effort to be “green,” any customer who returns an 8 oz Mason or Ball brand canning jar will get 25 cents for every jar returned.

    • Community Groups:  Morton Grove Community Relations Commission and U of I Extension Master Gardener Pat Reband.
    • In addition to our FREE weekly giveaway drawing, we will also be having a special FREE drawing for a brand new Radio Flyer wagon and canopy.  Simply enter to win at the Welcome Booth on Saturday, July 13th between 8 am – 12 pm.  Winner will be notified by e-mail to pick up their prize on July 20th.
    While we missed seeing you all on July 6th, we have been very busy during our 2 week hiatus.

    On July 3rd, Market Managers Peggy and Elaine brought their families to visit John and Myra Patyk’s farm in Richmond, IL. We got to see all kinds of vegetable crops in the fields, plants in the greenhouse, and animals in the barns.  Check out the photos here or visit their farm sometime yourself!The Morton Grove Farmers’ Market was proud to be Grand Marshalls of the 2013 Morton Grove Days Indepencence Day Parade!  Market Manager Kristina drove a car generously loaned to us by our platinum sponsor Lin-Mar Motors.  Market managers, committee members and volunteers passed out bubbles, carabiners, and Farmers’ Market postcards with a $1.00 couponon the back.  Receive $1.00 off when you purchase $10 or more from a single vendor with this coupon.  Don’t forget to use your coupon by August 10th!
