Opening Day of the 2013 Farmers' Market season will have plenty of vendors (new and returning), community groups, and entertainment. 6210 Dempster St., between Harrer Pool and the American Legion Civic Center.

Saturday, June 8th
Market Hours: 8 am – 12 pm
Opening Ceremony: 10 am
- Fresh, local produce including ASPARAGUS, RHUBARB, and PEAS
- Prepared foods, bakery items, meat, eggs and cheeses
- Artisan crafts and goods
The Morton Grove Farmers’ Market is kicking of the 2013 season this Saturday, June 8th from 8 am – 12 pm. Opening Day festivities begin at 10 am with a Boy Scouts Flag Ceremony, Nancy Kabat singing the National Anthem, and brief speeches by Village President Dan DiMaria, MG Park District Executive Director Tracey Anderson, MG Chamber of Commerce Board President Rich Block, and Morton Grove Farmers’ Market founder Kristina Otte.
Shop for Father’s Day, graduation presents, and your weekly groceries! Enjoy hot prepared foods, fresh produce and plants, hand-crafted items, fresh baked goods, and much more. Be sure to “like” us on Facebook for Market updates!
The Featured Vendor on June 8th will be Blankenship Farms. Music will be provided by members of the Park View Elementary School Band. The Community Group will be the ELL Parent Center (English Language Learners of Niles Township). The Sponsor on hand will be Inland Bank. The MG Chamber of Commerce will have Golf Outing tickets and raffle tickets available.

Parking for the Market is located in the MB Financial Bank South lot, the American Legion Civic Center lot, the Historical Museum lot, the Harrer Pool parking lots (both East and West of the Pool).
Please do not park in the street along Fernald, south of Dempster.
