Senior Day is co-sponsored by the North Shore Senior Center. The North Shore Senior Center (NSSC) is located in the American Legion Memorial Civic Center, right next to the Market.
Senior Day Schedule of Events:
- 9:30 - 10:30 am Painting with Acrylics Demonstration with local artist, graphic designer and teacher Mila Ryk.
- 10:45 - 11:00 Acting and Improvisation Demonstration
- Complimentary Blood Pressure Screenings all morning long, compliments of Mather LifeWays and Dr. Christy Matusiak of Halcyon Health Chiropractic.
- We will have FIVE community groups with activities and information tables all morning long.

- Mather LifeWays MOREways is a virtual community that offers more opportunities, resources, and experiences to stay connected to your neighborhood and the people in it.
- Morton Grove Advisory Commission on Aging - composed of senior citizen residents and representatives of public and private organizations serving the needs of older residents of Morton Grove.
- Morton Grove Garden Club - a group created to foster their mutual love for gardening and philanthropy
- Morton Grove Woman's Club - a group formed as a philanthropic social club to serve women and families in Morton Grove and the surrounding communities. They donate monies to needy families, local abuse shelters, various charities, and scholarships. They donate time and resources to Morton Grove Days to promote the community.
- North Shore Senior Center's mission is to foster the independence and well-being of older adults, enhance their dignity and self-respect, and promote their participation in and contribution toward all aspects of community life. They offer educational programs, social gatherings, volunteer opportunities and support services for older adults, as well as information and assistance for caregivers and family members. Stop by to meet Loretta Pable, Program Coordinator of the NSSC.

Parking for the Market is located in the MB Financial Bank South lot, the American Legion Civic Center lot, the Historical Museum lot, and the Harrer Pool parking lots (both East and West of the Pool).
Out of consideration for our neighboring businesses, please do not park in the street along Fernald, south of Dempster.
