Be Morton Grove's 'Star Spangled Idol'

The Morton Grove Park District is looking for a “Star Spangled Idol” to sing at the Independence Day Fireworks Show on Monday, July 4th at Harrer Park (Raindate is July 5th). Performers selected from audition tapes will sing a sampling of the “Star Spangled Banner” on June 14 and 21 at 6:45pm before the Tunes on Tuesday concert. Three vocalists will compete each night and our judges will choose the top performer each night that will advance to the final selection round on June 28 – when the “Star Spangled Idol” will be decided. (Applications and audition tapes are due no later than 5pm on Thursday, June 2nd. For more information go to our website at www.mortongroveparks.com
