Does you or someone you love struggle with low vision? Join us at the Low Vision Fair to get information and advice.

MGPL is one of eight area public libraries sponsoring the fifth annual Low Vision Fair at the Niles Senior Center. The Fair offers practical information about new developments in eye care, retina and glaucoma screening, and products and services available to persons with low vision. Dr. Jack Cohen, Illinois Retina Institute, will discuss macular degeneration and a panel of specialists will talk about How to Live Better with Low Vision. Visit the booths of supportive service agencies and vendors of assistive devices and try out the many helpful items available. Light refreshments will be served and door prizes will be awarded. For further information, call Nancy Brothers, MGPL Coordinator of Programming, at 847-929-5122.
