The Niles Public Library concludes its Smart Solution$ initiative with a light breakfast and a program geared towards adults ages 50 and better about being money smart on Thurs., June 13, 2013 at 10:30am.
Participants will learn to recognize how federal deposit insurance protects deposits, how to guard against identity theft, how various types of insurance will help manage risks, and the need to plan for unexpected death or disability. Presenter: Dedra Thomas, Extension Unit Educator, Consumer and Family Economics, University of Illinois Extension.
A light breakfast will be served. Also, spin our prize wheel and win a prize.
