Pagano was found by two of his children lying in their backyard, the Chicago Tribune reports.

"It's not suspicious in nature but we're not sure why he died, so it's still an open investigation," said Sgt. Jim Foley of the Glenview Police Department. Foley confirmed that Pagano was found by a juvenile.

Pagano was the co-owner of Pallet Wrapz, a packaging material company. According to business partner Rich Sklena, Pagano joined the business about 18 months ago, shortly after it was founded.

"We'll circle the wagon and move on, in his honor," Sklena said. "We're determined to succeed, it was his dream."
