Beloved husband of Sharon nee Genske. Loving father of Joseph, Andrew, Corey, and Michael. Dear brother of Joseph (Barb), Deann (Carl) Deloney, Cathy (Orlando) Marin and John (Vera). Fond uncle of many. Faithful K-9 companion of Rooney and Gizmo.  Interment Maryhill Cemetery. Proud member and Trustee of the Optimist Club of Niles. Elizabeth Sokolski
Funeral services for Elizabeth Sokolski were held Thursday, May 30 at Colonial Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Niles, with Mass at St. John Brebeuf Church. According to the obituary:
Beloved wife of the late Zenon for 62 years; loving aunt of John (Patricia) Zabawa and Diane (Joseph) Pukala; also, great-aunt and friend of many.

David Peter
Services for David Peter were held Friday, May 31, through Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home. The service was held at St. Mary's Knanaya Catholic Church, 7800 W. Lyons Street, Morton Grove. He was buried at Maryhill Catholic Cemetery.

Services for Frank Werderits, 88,  were held Thursday May 31 at Colonial Wojciechowski Funeral Home and St. Zachary Church, with burial at All Saints Cemetery.

Frank G. Werderits age 88. WWII US Army Veteran. Beloved husband of the late Loretta nee Oswald. Loving father of Janet (Daniel) Piovosi, Donna (Michael) Johann and John (Judith) Werderits. Cherished grandfather of Lisa (Brian) Dooley, Brianna (Matthew) East, Dana (Michael) Stempien, Jonathan Werderits, Ryan Johann and Scott Johann. Dear Great Grandfather of Mia, Danielle, Connor, Laney and Aiden. Fond brother of Margaret (Albert) Julliard and Ida (late Philip) Litzo. Loving uncle.
