St. John Brebeuf's Parish Picnic Offered Something for All Ages

An estimated 1,000 parish members, guests, and community residents enjoyed great weather at the Annual St. John Brebeuf Parish Picnic on Sunday, July 20.

Held in St. Paul Woods near Oakton and Caldwell Roads, the event offered something for all ages from carriage rides and pony rides to bingo and great food. Games of softball and soccer were held too. The Niles Fire Department came to let children and families get a closer look at a fire engine. Children's games and crafts were also offered by SJB staff and volunteers.

The day began with an outdoor Mass performed by Pastor Michael Meany.
