Trustee Przybylo Takes Pride In Serving NIles

He has the experience and knowledge to be mayor, should he be allowed to run. A letter to the editor from Amy Przybylo, in response to Chris Hanusiak's letter.

The following Letter to the Editor expresses the views of the author; Patch merely provides a forum for writers to express their opinions.

Hello, My name is Amy Przybylo, wife of Andrew Przybylo.  I would like to take this opportunity to respond to that was written to the editor from Mr. Chris Hanusiak.

How do I feel after reading the letter?  Somewhat hurt and insulted.  Chris Hanusiak made mention of Andrew being just a waiter.  I am simply very offended that he made a personal attack on my husband (in more ways than one) regarding being a waiter.

Earlier:

Many people work as waiters to support their families.  I have done it and I assure you that it is very rewarding to serve people and make them happy.  The Przybylo family looks at the wait staff at the White Eagle as part of their extended family.

He also stated that both my husband and I have county jobs.  Indeed we do.  Jobs that we both work very hard at. Andrew and I have lived in Niles for over 30 years.  We have raised two wonderful children there  and hope someday to retire in the village.

Andrew has served the community of Niles for most of those 30 years.  I certainly don't believe Chris Hanusiak has been around long enough to degrade or diminish my husband's political career.

Andrew believes in the Village of Niles and its residents.  He takes pride in being a trustee.  I believe my husband now has the experience and knowledge to serve as the mayor of the Village of Niles.  I think he would be an awesome mayor, should he be able to run.

Mr. Hanusiak also made mention of following in the paths of the Honorable Nicholas B. Blase and the Honorable Robert Callero.    I would like to thank him for that honor. By the way, Mr. Hanusiak, it's not nice to be a BULLY!

My only comment to Mrs.Przybylo is that she refers to a former Mayor as the Honerable Nicholas B. Blase . Let us remember that Mr. Blase isan admitted criminal. I do not think that a criminal is honerable.

Anyone who doesn't sign their name to their opinion really does't have an opinion. Who are you? Are you a currant trustee whose time in the spotlight is about to come to an end? Are you an attorney whose made a windfall in fees from the ongoing discourse on the board? Are you convicted felons who are laying low right now? As the beer commercial say's MAN UP. Oh, and have a nice day.

I'm new here. Amy doesnt seem to read correctly because when I read the article about the husband the writer meant that he was a waiter because he was waiting to move up in politics. Nothing there about waiting on tables. And Harrys a close second to the lady. James Madison and Hamilton didnt sign their names when they wrote news articles pushing for the constitution and they had an opinion. I want to know how long the lady thinjs somebody has to live in Niles before they are allowed to have an opinion. I read other articles about Blase and I didnt see anything by her saying Blase was a bully.
