Shopping can be stressful, but at old Orchard Mall you can enjoy the addition of fresh winter air, mile high Christmas trees and Free Hugs! Yes, FREE HUGS. Akira shop had a sign out for the busy shoppers, and though most were hesitant to check it out, I did. I follwed the sign into the Akira Store and inquired as to what the sign for free hugs was all about. I was thinking maybe Hershey's Kisses with each purchase? But no. Dylan, an employee of the store said it was literally a free hug for any weary shopper that wanted a pick me up. Being a hugger myself, I accepted the hug gratefully. What a fun pause in your day to take a minute and collect your thoughts. Hugs make you remember that the Season is all about love and giving.
