$2,000 Of Lip Gloss Stolen

Two women removed an entire section. Arrest information is provided by the Niles Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

On Feb. 11 at about 6:20 p.m., two women, one in her 30s wearing a black jacket and the other in her 40s wearing a pullover shirt and black pants, entered a retail store at Golf Mill Shopping Center and removed an entire section of lip gloss from a display. The store manager learned of it after reviewing surveillance video, and said the value of the lost property is $2,058. The store requested police follow-up.

Danielle Leblanc, 34, of North Magnet Street, Chicago, was charged with DUI after police said they observed her Honda swerve and cross the double yellow center lines in the 7100 block of Miwaukee Avenue at about 1:30 a.m. Feb. 10. According to the report, she told police she was returning from work at a restaurant/winery in Wheeling. Police said they noted the odor of alcohol on her breath and that she failed field sobriety tests. Her court date is March 7 in the Skokie branch of the Cook County courts.
