3 Men Charged With Concealing A Death

During an incident that lasted from Saturday night until Sunday, Michael A. Kelly, 43, of Des Plaines was found dead outside a Park Ridge apartment, and three men were charged with concealing a death.

Gerald Pembor, 78, of the 700 block of Busse Highway, Park Ridge, John D. Pembor, 51, of the same address and Daniel Chernesky, 35, of the 8400 block of Milwaukee Avenue, Niles, were charged Sunday. Park Ridge Police issued a statement saying they received a call just after 1:30 a.m. Sunday from Gerald Pembor, who said they had found Kelly in the building courtyard and had tried to administer life-saving measures. Park Ridge Fire Department paramedics transported Kelly to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
