$700 Worth Of Equipment Stolen

A 33-year-old Niles man reported Sept. 24 that his tow dolly and tow winch, valued at $700, were taken from a parking lot in the 7800 block of Caldwell, Niles. The theft occurred sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 2:15 p.m.

Burglary occurs

A woman reported a burglary to her home in the 8500 block of Chester, Niles, on Sept. 23. Police are investigating.

Family gets into dispute over car

A 44-year-old Niles woman of the 8700 block of Elmore reported her 17-year-old son became argumentative when he wasn't allowed to use the car on Sept. 24 at about 4:30 p.m. The son said he was also upset because his sister was taking his things. The father agreed to drive the son to Palatine to see his girlfiend. Police issued a domestic violence form and referred the family to Niles Family Services.
