84-Year-Old Man Punches 82-Year-Old Wife

He then left the house.

An 82-year-old Niles woman who lives in the 8200 block of Neva Avenue told police she was looking for her wristwatch on Oct. 12 just after midnight, couldn't find it and asked her husband where it was. He became upset and grabbed her wrist. He then went into the bathroom and closed the door. She knocked on the door, he came out and he punched her in the mouth and then pushed her to the ground, according to police. Afterwards, he left the house and she didn't know where he went. Police issued a domestic violence form and are investigating. The victim did not want to sign complaints.

Woman receives threatening phone calls from ex-husband

A 28-year-old Niles woman from the 8700 block of Wisner Street told police Oct. 12 that her ex-husband, 35, from Skokie, phoned her 12 times between 4 and 5 p.m. He left threatening and harassing messages. Police contacted him and told him not to have any contact with the vicim. The victim did not want to pursue criminal charges.
