A delicious near death experience

Lake Bluff officers responded to a report of a woman having difficulty breathing. The officer arrived and determined a piece of cake had dislodged from her throat. An ambulance and EMTs arrived also. The woman refused transportation to the emergency room.

Police provide locally sourced jail cell

A Rolling Meadows woman was arrested after police say she stole a salad, scented candles, coconut water and cherry tomatoes from the Deerfield Whole Foods.
