Car Stolen On Black Friday

An 83-year-old Morton Grove woman reported that her 2011 Toyota four-door vehicle, which was paid for, was taken from a parking lot in the 7400 block of Oak Park Avenue, Niles, on Nov. 25 between 4:15 and 4:50 p.m.

Police entered it into a state theft database.

Brick breaks a car window

On Nov. 23, a 54-year-old Niles man told police someone had thrown a large brick through the rear window of his 1996 Honda four-door vehicle, causing it to break.The incident happened in the alley of the 8000 block of Lyons, Niles. It happened sometime between 11 p.m. on Nov. 22 and 6:50 a.m. Nov. 23.

Home burglarized

A 72-year-old woman who lives in the 8100 block of Ozanam, Niles, told police she was the victim of a burglary. Police are investigating.
