Car Stolen While Owner In School

Also, an offender attacked a victim in a battery case. An arrest is merely an accusation, not evidence of a conviction.

The following information is taken from Morton Grove Police Department reports.

ARRESTS

Nathaniel Kozlowski, 23, of Chicago was stopped for traffic violations at 9110 Waukegan Road, police said. After searching his vehicle, they charged him with possession of a controlled substance. Court date is scheduled for 09/03/13.

Martin C. Reynoso, 20, of Morton Grove was stopped Aug. 23 at Emerson and Waukegan Road, police said, and subsequently charged with possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia. Court date is scheduled for 09/30/13.

Saul Rivera, 37, of Evanston was stopped Sept. 30 for traffic violations at Lehigh and Oakton, police said, and was charged with having a suspended driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for 09/30/13.

Enkh A. Seitz, 38, of Glenview, was stopped for traffic violations Aug. 24 at Dempster and Shermer, police said, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Court date is scheduled for 9/16/13.

Ina Berry, 43, of Chicago was stopped for traffic violations at Dempster and Oak Park Aug. 25, police said, and charged with driving with a suspended license. Court date is scheduled for 10/3/13.

Dwight A. Dui, 22, of Des Plaines, was stopped for traffic violations at Dempster and Ozark Aug. 25, police said, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Court date is scheduled for 09/16/13. 

Michael S. Richmond, 45, of Evanston took items from multiple businesses at 6931 W. Dempster and 6301 Oakton without paying on Aug. 26, police said. He was charged with retail theft. Court date is scheduled for 09/30/13.

Michael J. Beecrott, 29, of Geneva, was stopped for traffic violations Aug. 26 in the 7400 block of Dempster and found to have an active warrant out for his arrest, police said. Court date is scheduled for 09/26/13. 

MISCELLANEOUS 

In a deceptive practice case Aug. 13, unknown offender(s) illegally cashed company checks at 6400 Oakton. 

In a burglary to motor vehicle case Aug. 15 in the 8900 block of Birch, unknown offender(s) stole property from the victim’s vehicle.

In a telephone harassment case, offender(s) placed threatening phone calls to a home in the 7700 block of Palma on Aug. 18.

In a burglary case in the 9100 block of Oak Park Avenue, unknown offender(s) entered the garage of the residence by breaking the door knob on Aug. 19.

In a battery case Aug. 20 in the 9300 block of Menard, the offender physically attacked the victim and fled the scene before police were notified.

In a theft of motor vehicle case Aug. 22 in the 8200 block of Gross Point Road, unknown offender(s) took a locked vehicle while the victim was in school.
