Car Theft, Revoked License

A BMW was reported stolen from a hotel parking lot, and a 19-year-old was charged with driving on a revoked license. An arrest is merely an accusation and not evidence of a conviction.

A stolen BMW from a hotel parking lot and a driver on a revoked license were among the recent incident reports of the Niles Police Department. 

Car Theft

A 25-year-old man from Niles reported that someone stole his 1998 BMW from the a motel parking lot in the 7200 block of Waukegan. The incident took place at nearly midnight on Aug. 1. The victim stated that sports memorabilia was inside the vehicle. He still had his car keys at the time of the report. The vehicle was entered into state theft database.

Driving On A Revoked License

Tomislav Lazarevski, 19, of 7051 Karlov, Lincolnwood, was charged with driving on a revoked license. During a traffic stop on Aug. 2, an officer made contact with the driver who was using a revoked license. The offender was then taken into custody. The drivers vehicle was towed per village ordinance. The offender was taken to Niles Police Department, where he was booked, processed and released on an IBond pending his court date of Aug. 17.
