Advocate Medical Group said four computers with personal information for more than 4 million patients were taken during a burglary last month, the Republic reports.

The medical group said the computers were taken July 15 from their administrative offices in Park Ridge. The computers had patient names, addresses, dates of birth and social security numbers on them. However, the publication reports, they did not have medical information on them. The records are from anyone who has visited an Advocate Medical Group doctor. Impacted patients can receive from credit monitoring from Advocate. Patients can find more information on the website http://www.patientnotice.org.
