Corpse Found Near Park Ridge Metra Station

Man was in his 30s; it was the second suspicious death in a week in Park Ridge.

Park Ridge police had no updates Thursday night in the case of a dead body that was found in the wee hours of Thursday morning in a parking area near the Park Ridge Metra station.

Police are investigating the death, and said the body, of a male about age 30 to 35, did not have identification, according to CBSlocal.com.

The body was found on the ground in the 200 block of South Summit Avenue, the Park Ridge Herald-Advocate reported. That location is slightly west and south of St. Paul of the Cross Church and school.

The Herald Advocate also reported it was the second suspicious death in a week. The body of a man was found Feb. 2 in a wooded area north of Oakton Street on Algonquin Road. The Cook Couny Medical Examiner's Office ruled it a suicide.

Park Ridge police say they will update when they get a report from the county Medical Examiner's Office.

I heard that there was a third death sometime between 2/11 to 3/12, but the police are keeping it all under the radar. Also because the third death was supposedly connected to the first so the first case is being re-opened.

John, just to clarify, do you mean between 2/11 and 2/12?
