Couple Argue Over Divorce, Wife Calls 911

The argument started after they left a nightclub. Information is supplied by the Niles Police Department. An arrest is merely an accusation and does not indicate a conviction.

 

At about 2:40 a.m. on Monday, a woman, 55, and her husband, 59, both of Niles, left a nightclub in the 8700 block of Milwaukee Avenue and became involved in a verbal argument. The wife told the husband she wanted a divorce. When they arrived home, the argument became worse and the wife called 911. The husband left the home for the night. Police issued a domestic violence form.

On April 30, a 55-year-old Niles woman living in the 7200 block of Neva received a phone call form her 23-year-old daughter, an alleged heroin user, police said. The mother had been providing money for the daughter to receive treatment at a clinic. When she stopped providing money, the daugher became upset with the mother and threatened to damage her car and say bad things about her on the Internet. The mother will seek an order of protection. Police issued a domestic violence form.
