Domestic Dispute Gives Pregnant Woman Bout Of Nausea

She said her boyfriend turned up the radio so loud during their argument that it made her sick.

A 19-year-old Morton Grove woman parked her vehicle at the Niles Police Department on Oct. 8 at about 7 p.m. and began walking away from her 21-year-old boyfriend, also of Morton Grove. A police officer saw the two arguing and separated them. While the officer was talking to her, she began vomiting, and police learned she was five months pregnant.

Niles Fire Department paramedics treated her, but she had no injuries, only pregnancy-related nausea.The woman told police that she and her boyfriend were arguing over another child the boyfriend has with another woman. The woman also related that during the argument, the boyfriend turned up the stereo so loud it made her nauseated.

Police issued them both domestic violence forms.

Man charged with DUI

Jeff Pak, 23, of Glenview, was charged with DUI Oct. 9 at about 1:40 a.m. after police stopped him for driving 56 mph in a 25 mph zone of Milwaukee Avenue, Niles. He showed impairment on field sobriety tests. His court date is Nov. 4 at the Skokie branch of the Cook County courts.
