Drunk Man Charged With Disorderly Conduct

Incident happened in mall bathroom.

Eric Wojciechowski, 48, of Park Ridge, was charged with disorderly conduct Tuesday after a bystander told a security officer at Golf Mill Shopping Center Thursday there was  a drunk man in a restroom. Security found him there drinking from a bottle of brandy.

When police arrived, the man had a strong odor of alcohol, refused multiple times to give his name and date of birth and finally said "just arrest me." His court date is April 19 in the Skokie branch of the Cook County courts.

Dmitry Grossman, 24, of Glenview was charged with possession of cannabis Monday after someone called to report a suspicious automobile parked in the 8200 block of Wisner, Niles. Police found several people in Grossman's car, smelled the odor of cannabis and saw a green leafy substance which looked like cannabis on Grossman's lap. When police asked if the occupants had been smoking cannabis, they said yes. Police searched the vehicle with permission and found a glass pipe, a digital scale and a plastic sandwich bag containing suspect cannabis. Grossman's court date is May 20 at the Skokie branch of the Cook County courts.
