Evicted Men Charged With Criminal Trespass

Arrest information is supplied by the Niles Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Darisz Jandura, 23, and Jerzy Jandura, 51, whose last known address was in the 7200 block of Greenleaf, were charged with criminal trespass to a building on Tuesday at 12:50 a.m.

A police officer on patrol observed some personal items on the lawn in front of a townhome in the 7200 block of Greenleaf, and noticed a Cook County eviction notice posted on the door, according to a report. The officer learned the eviction had taken place the previous day. The door was padlocked, but the officer saw a ladder at the rear of the residence leading to a window that was ajar.

Police entered through the window and found the two men sleeping in a bedroom, they said. Their court date is March 9 in the Skokie branch of the Cook County courts.
