Home Burglarized; Sisters Scuffle Over Man

Two sisters had a shoving match over one's boyfriend. An arrest is merely an accusation and does not indicate a conviction.

 

The resident of a home in the 6800 block of Oakton reported Wednesday at 4:22 p.m. that her home had been burglarized. The burglary occurred between 9:40 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. that day. Police are investigating.

A 56-year-old woman from Michigan reported Wednesday just after 9:20 p.m. that she had argued with her sister, of the 7800 block of Oconto, Niles, about the Niles sister's boyfriend, police said. When the Niles sister asked thd Michigan sister to leave the residence, the Michigan sister began to gather her belongings, but a pushing match began and the Niles sister pulled the Michigan sister into the garage, according to the report. The Michigan sister did not wish to sign complaints. Police issued an Illinois domestic violence form.
