Homicide Charges Filed In Death of Morton Grove Man

A Glenview man was charged with reckless homicide and DUI for a car accident on Milwaukee Avenue that killed a Morton Grove man.

Glenview police have charged Daniel Shmelevich, 28, of Glenview, with reckless homicide, improper lane usage and driving under the influence of an intoxicating compound, according to police. 

The charges relate to an accident on Sept. 22 on the 1000 block of Milwaukee Avenue, which killed a Morton Grove man.
