Intoxicated Man Tried To Start Bar Fights

He had to be restrained.

Primitivo Flores, 23, of Niles was cited for public intoxication at about 3:15 a.m. Saturday morning. Police responded to a call from a bar in the 8500 block of Golf Road, Niles, and found Flores appearing to be so highly intoxicated that he was unable to communicate and almost in a stupor.

Employees of the bar said he had arrived about an hour earlier and appeared to already be intoxicated when he arrived. One bartender said she served him two mixed vodka drinks. They said he had been walking around the bar trying to start fights with employees and patrons. The manager asked him to leave but he refused, and security staff escorted him outside.

The Niles Fire Department took Flores to Lutheran General Hospital, but he struggled with staff and had to be restrained. The bar was also cited for overserving.
