Lake County Sheriff: Barrington Teen Missing

Sheriff's detectives are seeking any information on Brandon Baranowski.

 

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the disappearance of a 17-year-old Barrington teen last seen Friday.

Brandon Baranowski, of the 26000 block of Indian Trail, Barrington, was reported missing at 10 a.m. Friday, May 24.

“We are actively investigating the case,” Sheriff’s deputy Sgt. Sara Balmes said.

Baranowski was last seen when a friend dropped him off near some woods, according to his sister, who posted information on Facebook asking for help in finding her brother.

"Barrington friends, my little brother has been missing since last week and his friends are not being helpful," his sister wrote on Facebook. "He is 17-years old, Brandon Baranowski, and was last seen on Friday and has not been heard from since. Please help me and my family find him, we just want him home safe. Thank you."
