Niles Police Sgt. Robert Tornabene said he did not have details on how many times the abuse occurred.

However, the girl told police the abuse happened from October 2008 through August 2011. The girl, who revealed the abuse to her mother, alleged that incidents of abuse also occurred in Chicago, but Tornabene said the Niles Police Department was handling the occurrences which took place in Niles.
