Man Charged With Battery After Pushing, Striking Victim, Police Say
An arrest is merely an accusation, not evidence of a conviction.

Pastor Jara, 39, of Niles was stopped for traffic violations Jan. 22 at Belleforte and Dempster, police said, and charged with driving without a valid driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for 02/10/14.
Kevin Maropoulos, 27, of Chicago was stopped for traffic violations Jan. 22 at Dempster and Central, police said, and charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for 02/07/14.

In what police characterized as hit and run incident, Ninorta Meshko, 24, of Skokie was charged with fleeing the scene without providing information after being involved in a traffic accident Jan. 21 in the 8200 block of Gross Point Road, according to the police report. Court date is scheduled for 02/25/14.
Donna Devine, 57, of Des Plaines was arrested on an active warrant for traffic on Jan. 21 in the 5700 block of Oakton, police said. Court date is scheduled for 02/20/14.

Lewis Rhaburn, 35, of Niles was stopped for traffic violations Jan. 19 at Dempster and Ozark, police said, and charged with driving without a valid driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for 02/25/14.
Gilberto Hernendez-Orihuela, 33, of Elmwood Park was stopped for traffic violations at Narragansett and Dempster Jan. 19, police said, and charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for 02/07/14.
Rasim Ukoja, 46, of Chicago was stopped for traffic violations at Olcott and Dempster Jan. 17, police said, and charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for 02/26/14.
Frances Heyden, 46, of Park Ridge was stopped for traffic violations Jan. 19 at Oriole and Dempster, police said, and charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for 02/25/14.
Alexander Guz, 64, of Vernon Hills was charged with battery Jan. 17 in the 7800 block of Lyons after police said he pushed the victim and struck the victim in the head with an open hand. Court date is scheduled for 02/25/14.
