Man Harasses Girlfriend Re: Child Support

A woman told police her ex-boyfriend said he would 'hunt her down' after he was served with child support papers. Arrest information is supplied by the Niles Police Department. An arrest is merely an accusation and not evidence of guilt.

A 41-year-old Niles woman told police on March 6 at about 6 p.m. that her 36-year-old boyfriend, of Bloomingdale, has been calling her since he was served with papers requriing him to pay child support to the victim.

The victim related that the offender said he would hunt her down and make her pay, after he returned from a trip to Mexico. The two of them have two children together. Niles police spoke to the offender via telephone and he said he did not threaten her and that it was a misunderstanding. Police filed a report as a matter of record.

Anthony DiFiore, 44, of Glenview, was charged with DUI March 7 at 3:42 a.m. afater police said they tracked him driving 65 mph in a 35 ph zone in the 8800 block of Dempster.

Police noticed an odor of alcohol on the offender's breath and observed an open bottle labeled Svedka Vodka underneath the offender's right leg, according to the report. When asked if he had consumed alcohol, DiFiore said no, he was just leaving the hospital and that he had been sleeping. He showed impairment on standard field sobriety tests. His court date is April 11 in the Skokie branch of the Cook County courts.
