Man Peeps Into Woman's Garden Apartment Window

A 28-year-old Niles woman who lives in the 8500 block of Milwaukee Avenue called police June 14 to report a man wearing a red shirt and black pants was lurking near the windows of her garden apartment. Police arrived and observed the man, Marian Maka, 54, of Glenview, standing a few feet from her apartment building looking into the window. When they approached him, he said he was having a heart attack. Paramedics took him to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, and he was issued a ticket for disorderly conduct.

Pornographic channels added to woman's satellite TV

A 52-year-old Niles woman reported to police June 16 that a movie and pornography channels were added to her satellite dish television account, and that she didn't authorize them. In the past, she has asked to have these channels removed, only to have them show up on her account again. She suspects someone may have her social security information, as that's the only way to add channels to the account.
